Celebrate San Francisco's beloved Golden Gate Bridge at the Hotel Palomar
Everyone loves San Francisco's iconic Golden Gate Bridge and associates it with our cities awe inspiring beauty and evolution. In May of 2012 the Golden Gate Bridge celebrated its 75th Anniversary and in honor of the bridge the Hotel Palomar will be recognizing its rich history through the end of the year. Our festive Golden Gate Suite will help you indulge your senses with creations honoring the Golden Gate Bridge from local artists, including furniture made out of reclaimed steel from the Bridge itself.
From the first glimpse of the Golden Gate tollbooth blown up on the doors and walls of suite 512 from the hallway, the Golden Gate printed opaque decal that expands across the five bay windows in the room to the one of a kind headboard painted with a street art style that captures the bridge's grandeur. Top to bottom the suite is full of beauty inspired by the Golden Gate Bridge.
Have we mentioned the best part yet? Guests staying in the Golden Gate Suite are treated to a complimentary Golden Gate cocktail from Fifth Floor Restaurant. The cocktail, called Vermillion M.E.S. gets its name from the Orange Vermillion color painted over the steel on the bridge. Joseph Strauss and Charles Ellis were also two of the contributing architects and so all three of their last names are used in the cocktail's name-M.E.S. Additionally, guests will receive:
- A complimentary chocolate turndown amenity
